Artistic
approach:
The
image in photographic art does not have to depict something realistically and
skillfully. Rather, the finished image should be seen as an aesthetic work that
can enter into an individual dialogue with the viewer.
The
series "completely detached" is therefore paradigmatic for my concept
of art. In the end, it no longer matters which object the picture is based on.
The relationship between the photographed object and the resulting work of art
is severed and it is to be viewed detached from its origin in its new
aesthetic.
In
the "Reduced to the maximum" series, the fine details that
photography has historically stood for are removed from the images. The result
is reduced landscapes and still lifes, some of which are highly abstracted to
make a new statement.
No
photomontages are used in any of the works. All elements of the image
composition are present when the picture is taken - sometimes static, often
only fleeting.
